
LEC MONTHLY MEETING APRIL 17TH AT THE BURCHFIELD NATURE AND ARTS CENTER, 2001 UNION ROAD, WEST SENECA, NY

Beginners fly tying and Social Hour will be from 6:00PM-7:00PM. A general meeting and presentation will be at 7:00PM-8:30 PM.

We will be holding a SWAP MEET in the classroom area from 6:00 - 7:00PM, this is a chance for members to sell pr trade used fly fishing gear. Additionally, Bill Trowman will be conducting basic fly tying in the Board Room from 6:00 to 8:30 PM for beginners. Featured fly is the Woolley Bugger.

A short general meeting at 7:00 will be held followed by our featured presentation by Steve Wascher of Chautauqua Bugs. Steve is a third generation fly tyer and has tied and fly fished for over 50 years. He has been a guide and teaching fly tying classes for over 20 years. Professionally Steve was a Special Education Teacher for 30 years. His flies have been published in many books and magazines over the years. Steve will demonstrate the fly-tying technique of spinning deer hair for bass bugs.
