September and October Monthly Meetings
September Meeting In Person Thursday September 21-American Legion Post 735 West Seneca, NY 6pm fly tying and 7pm meeting-Jim Markham DEC Senior Aquatic Biologist will join us in person for his presentation on State of the Steelhead Fisheries in Lake Erie tributaries.
Jim was awarded the 2022 Sport Fish Restoration Outstanding Project Award on behalf of the American Fisheries Society for his work on Steelhead Stocking Size and Location Impacts.
October Meeting Thursday October 19 -Orvis Store in Williamsville, (Eastern Hills- 4545 Transit Road, Williamsville, NY 14221) - 6pm fly tying and 7pm meeting-presentation is Hunting Musky with a Fly by Rick Kustich. Rick Kustich is a fly-fishing writer, instructor, and guide who began fly-fishing fifty years ago on the lakes and streams of upstate New York. His work has appeared in numerous national and regional publications. Rick is author of Hunting Musky with a Fly (2017) and Advanced Fly Fishing for Great Lakes Steelhead (2013) as well as four other titles including the best-selling Fly Fishing for Great Lakes Steelhead
